A fine example of an antique gold double snake ring, crafted in the Victorian era and set with two old cut diamonds in the head of each snake. The two snakes coil around the finger their heads entwined and tails curling adding a fluid movement to the look of the ring

The snake became a popular emblem in Victorian jewellery after Prince Albert presented Queen Victorian with a snake engagement ring.
