Antique Victorian Diamond Crescent Moon Brooch, Old Cut Diamond 2.10ct
A majestic Victorian old cut diamond brooch, this fabulous piece is a good size at 32mm across and set with chunky old cut diamonds totalling 2.10ctw, in silver to a gold balcony. The brooch would be perfect converted as a pendant, please get in touch to discuss.

ERA: Victorian 1880s
THE GEMS: Set with 23, graduating in size, old cut diamonds, the largest central diamond measures approx 0.46ct, flanked by two diamonds measuring 0.30ct. F-G colour and SI1 - I1 clarity.
MEASUREMENTS:The crescent measure 32.2mm across, central width 53mm and 6mm deep.
WEIGHT: Total weight 6.3 grams
MATERIALS: 15ct Gold and silver.
CONDITION: Good overall antique condition, signs of historic repair to brooch pin catch, The Crescent may have also been a conversion piece when it was made as there are key hole shaped holes to the inside, meaning it may have once had a fitting for a hair piece or necklace.
HALLMARKS: Unmarked, gold has been tested.
