Rare Antique 15ct Gold Collar and Diamond Set Locket.
A fabulous 15ct gold collar and diamond locket, it is hard to find these in gold and to find the chain and locket together still is even rarer. The locket boast a 0.36ct old cut diamond in a beautiful elongated star setting, the reverse holds a glass locket compartment. The collar itself is made up of wonderful Etruscan revival inspired links with applied wire and bead work on the plaques and detailed carved round discs.
A wonderful piece of history, as luxurious today as when it was crafted.

THE GEMS: Central old cut diamond of good colour and clarity, estimated ct weight 0.36ct
MEASUREMENTS: Collar length 14", width 9.5mm. Locket measures 30mm x 36mm, 46mm drop including bail and pendant loop. Collar length can be extended by my goldsmith, get in touch to discuss options
WEIGHT: 24.6 grams
MATERIALS: 15ct Gold, Diamond
CONDITION: Good Antique Condition
HALLMARKS: Unmarked Acid tested
