Georgian Intaglio Signet Ring with Roman Blue Glass Intaglio. 9ct Gold Ring
A beautiful Georgian intaglio seal ring set with a Roman Glass intaglio, most probably acquired by a gentleman whilst on the grand tour and set in this fabulous ring. The intaglio itself is carved with the profile of a gentleman with a full head of curling hair, the blue glass has a deep rich colour. The ring has great finger coverage and lift. The shank is crafted from three separate bands that join at the back of the ring.

MEASUREMENTS: Ring size UK O/ US 7 1/4 resizable, please contact to arrange. Bezel set intaglio measures 18.2mm x 16mm, depth tapers from 9mm to 5.5mm, shank width 3.2mm.
WEIGHT: 6.8gms
MATERIALS: Glass and 9ct Gold
CONDITION: Fair antique condition, Setting in very good condition, some nibbles to the edge of the glass intaglio.
HALLMARKS: Unmarked, Gold acid tested.
