Beautiful Antique Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold ring with enamel lettering spelling out 'In Memory of'. This mourning Ring has a small glass fronted panel containing woven hair. It is an unusual and very attractive hexagonal shaped shank with scrolling edges bordering each segment of enamel work.

Hallmarks, 18ct, Birmingham, 1869.

Inside holds the inscription 'Sarah Pucketts, Died Sept 10th 1870,Aged 63'

Era~ Victorian

Dimensions~ 7.5mm wide band, each of the six segments are 12.5mm long.

Materials~ 18ct gold and enamel

Weight~ 6.7 grams.

Size~ US 10 1/2 UK V

Condition~ Some wear to the enamel, the glass panel has become dirty on the inside of the glass making it harder to see the woven hair within, this could be cleaned by a professional jeweller.
